From finding purpose to connecting with your community, volunteering with us is always a win. You are not only making an impact for the band program, but your efforts help both you and your student as well (and it’s pretty fun, too)
Make an impact
Could you donate 2 hours of your time this year?
If every parent was able to donate 10 hours of their time this year (thats just about an hour per month) that would be incredible! We totally understand crazy busy schedules, so if you aren’t able to commit to the whole ten, how about an hour or two?
Opportunities
We have opportunities for anyone who’d like to get involved! These are just a few ideas that we have an immediate need for, but if you have other ideas – get in touch!
Become a Chaperone
We often need chaperones for competitions, parades and other fun events like group trips to Busch Gardens! By chaperoning, you’d be responsible for helping out the staff in looking after the kids during a specified time. 2 or more hours.
Concessions CEO
Know your way around a concession stand, or at least think you could figure it out? We need support each home game in the concessions stand so that we can raise money for our band program. This involves ringing people up and handing them tasty treats. 3 Hours.
Grill Master
If you have your grilling skills down to perfection, we want you to help cook up some hot bugers and dogs. Come and stay for the game while helping to feed our students, staff and crowd and you’ll get to do some good and fund the band. too. 3 hours.
Water Passer-outer
Come join us for a game and pass out water to hot, thirsty students. While you are keeping on top of hydration, you’ll get to enjoy the game (and watching your student!) for free. 1.5 Hours
Step-in Staff
Sometimes we just need an extra hand with some things. From orginzing to selling merch at events, if you are able to help out here and there, this opportunity would be for you. 1 or more hours
Uniform Finders
Band students need uniforms, and what’s more, they need uniforms that fit. Sometimes this can overwhelm the staff at hand, so extra help is never turned away! Fitting uniforms is easy and a well fitted uniform helps your student look and feel their best. 1 or more hours

For those in a time crunch
Busy schedule but still want to help out?
Volunteering doesn’t have to come with a huge time commitment, sometimes you don’t even have to leave your home! These items below might seem insignificant, but in reality they help the band immensely!
Arrange No Cook Nights
This involves calling up a restaurant and asking them about they fundraising programs. From here we would coordinate and get it scheduled.
Send in some snacks
Teens are hungry, teens who are working hard are even hungrier. We welcome donations of snacks and drinks – we go through them quickly!
Find a sponsor
Sometimes all it takes is a simple FB post and bam, we have a sponsor helping us out with something we need, like trailer tires or band backpacks.
Tow the Trailer
Each time we leave the school, we need our music trailer towed to the event. We offer gas reimbursement and you’ll also get to enjoy the game at no cost.
