Boosters

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that exists solely to help support the band program.

Our team of four helps ensure that we have enough funds, support, and volunteers throughout the year to help our marching band do what it does best – perform!

Booster Meetings are the 1st Tuesday of each month.

Meet the Team

A little bit about the parent’s who make up the Booster Board!
Jamie Taylor
President
You’ve probably seen me running around taking photos of everyone during the games, but if you’ve never met me, Hello! My daughter Sophia is in percussion, and this is her third year in marching band – we just love it!

I so look forward to serving on the board as President and getting to work with staff, students and families as we all come together to make this the most memorable year yet!

Melissa Koltz
Vice President
My name is Melissa Koltz and I am happy to be Serving as Vice President for the Boosters! I have been married to my wonderful husband for 25 years, and we have two terriffic daughters. Our youngest, Abi is entering her Senior year at Ida Baker and has loved playing in the brass section of band since she was in 4th grade.

With my background in teaching and professional caregiving, I look forward to working with and sharing my skill sets with our awesome teen band members, staff, fellow booster members and families to make this a fabulous year.

Hi. My name is Rachael Adams and this is my 3rd year teaching Reading here at IBHS. My daughter plays Alto Saxophone in the band, and she has been in band since 6th grade. I enjoy so much hearing the students play. I am honored to be apart of the Boosters this year and help support the excellent program we have here at IBHS. Supporting the students and all their hard work is so exciting! Go Bulldogs!
